Acrylic Experiment

 So I decided to pick up a cheap little set of acrylics which is probably the worst you could probably work with. They are from Nicole-Quality Value. Well, at three dollars they were that. If you are trying out a new medium I would not recommend going for such low end paints but it is really hard to go all the way with an expensive brand. These dried too quickly and the color choices were unusual and difficult to mix.

As with all experiments I start with veg and fruit.

This is a set of apples from a magazine clipping from years ago. I am constantly collecting ideas and keep them organized in files....most of the time.  Not sure it this is for me yet. I'm partial to my watercolor.
